I’m Cally Browning and I am Bare Creative.
When I was 12 I sent away for a correspondence course in “commercial art” which is what they used to call it in those heady analogue days of my youth. It was then I learned what a logo was… and after I bought my first Dolly magazine at 13 I reckoned I had a future in design, specifically magazines, hopefully Dolly.
The last bit didn’t work out too well – I grew well out of Dolly once Ita Buttrose came along and put a nude centerfold in Cleo but I never tired of magazines. I did end up designing them – a whole range of titles from business to lifestyle to interior design to sport. So if you are looking for someone to help you with your publishing needs – multiple page documents, single page or something in between, I can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your project and I’m passionate about delivering your brief on time and on budget.
Or perhaps you need a brochure, or a website – my work as a freelance designer has given me plenty of opportunities to build a body of work that speaks for itself.
Except for wine labels – So I made my own last year…
